I have an early AH BT7 and have a question re the wiring harness. The
wiring diagram (N.24 from the workshop manual) shows 3 white wires
attached to terminal A3 of the fuse box. One of these comes from the
overdrive relay, one from the coil and the third from the petrol pump.
However, from the original cars I have seen and some very detailed
pictures I received from a lister, there are FOUR wires attached to
terminal A3. Also, there is a white wire emanating from the wiring
harness at the same place as the white wires from the coil and petrol
pump. This wire is thicker than the other two. I believe this attaches
to A3 as well with the other end connecting to the ignition switch.
However, since I burned out one overdrive wiring harness and the wiring
diagram does not show a fourth wire at A3, I am a little skittish about
connecting the fourth white wire without some expert advice since I have
already burned out one overdrive wiring harness.
Thanks in advance.
