Thank you everyone for your input. I think that it would be best to take the carburetors out, do a complete rebuild both and at the same time, jet coat the exhaust manifold to eliminate any further deterioration, as I am kicking myself for not doing it when I had the engine out of the car when I did the restoration. I did coat it with the stainless steel paint from Eastwood, but it is not the same as a jetcoat. Mark Goodman |
