RE: media blast

The use of media blasting to clean motor blocks in place of traditional 
hot tank dipping is being forced on machine shops in some locations 
because of the requirements of certain air pollution control districts. 
one can assume that these  laws
   will come to most areas eventually so  the question is ,what is the 
alternative short of setting up shop in the boonies ?
