AH 100-4 originality detail question......

Hi,
Just two quick ones today:
 
1.  What fastens the carpet male fastener to the floor?  Pop  rivet? 
Screw/washers/nut?
     Sheet metal screw?
2.  In the Heritage carpet kit, the carpet that goes behind the pedals  (the 
piece the pedals  
     pass through) and the vertical piece to the right  of your right calf 
(driver side, LHD) is one
     piece of carpet.  Is that original, or should  it be two pieces?
