Bob, I agree about smaller sizes, but once you get past an inch or so, a close metric or standard wrench can usually be found easier and for a lower price that won't "bugger things up" The larger flats seem to keep things from stripping or slipping in my experience. Totally agree on the smaller sizes which are easy to round off if you use the "next size up" standard wrench when a whitworth or whatever is required.
