I don't know any thing about a Concourse (sp) committee <grin>, but the 
Concours Committee acknowledges the usual painting of the lower rear shroud 
flange in dull black and usually showing brush marks. Indeed we watch for it 
when the cars are judged. If the owner feels strongly that his car was not 
done this way, this should be stated to the judges prior to the judging and 
this will be taken into account.
