Hi all,
I have a 1962 BT7 Tri Carb, driver. A few days ago I read a thread that
mentioned that it is better to no press the clutch while starting the engine
because it releaves load on the crankshaft thrust washers and slows the
cranking speed.

Lately I have noticed that everytime I press the clutch, the RPM4s go down
considerably even stalling the engine. This symptom has any relation to
increasing the load on the crankshaft or should I consider checking
something else?

Thanks in advance.
Rafael
