On the later model Healey, there was a mechanism to hold the door open when ajar. Part of this mechanism included a "friction disk" that was between two pieces of metal that tightened as the door opened (actually quite simple and ingenious..) Does anybody know what material of the friction disk was made out of.I need to make some replicas. Thanks Paul |
