Wow, Gale,
Great to hear your story, and welcome!
I'm sure we'd all like to hear excerpts about BOTH of your cross-country trips
sometime. --It would be interesting to hear how they differed too, 51? years
apart !!
Enjoyed your note,

Subject: 67BJ8 now in San Diego!
We are new owners of 67 BJ8 35887. Purchased it in St Petersburg and after
a
bit of work to make sure everything ready we drove it to San Diego, a total
of
2745 miles. Our first trip in a 100-4 was in January 1957 from New York to
Los Angeles and we decided to just relive that grand experience. We had a
great time this time also and especially enjoyed the stops along the way as
people gathered around. I want to thank Marion Brantley who without his
guidance and help we might not have enjoyed this trip quit so much. Marion
visited Glenn's MG in St Petersburg daily for two weeks to assure that
everything was coming along properly and I want to say that Glenn and his
shop
crew did a fine job of putting the Healey in shape. Martha and I (Gale as
in
the male gender) look forward to the enjoyment that we are sure that
belonging
to the Healey community will bring.
