Use PPG DP74 LF epoxy primer thinned as a sealer. It is red which is close to the original reddish brown base primer used under the paint. Sealer is thin which helps the overall look. You definaltly dont want thick primer on an engine. Enamel from Hirsch is thick enough to make it look right. Carroll Phillips Top Down Restorations |
