Wow, that takes me back. I had them on my 64 BJ8 in 65-70.
I'd get about 5,000 miles per set.
I've been told they are illegal except on the track here in California now.
No real tread, called "slicks" then. In those days they would stick like
glue until they "broke loose" without warning. You went through corners in
controlled slides. I even used them in the snow. They sure looked good on
the car when you are 16.
