I'm surprised no one jumped in with this, but the folks who don't want to fuse their headlights are correct. What was missing is that you use a circuit breaker. That way the headlight becomes intermittent, not just off. Small blade CBs are available at parts stores, and if I remember correctly will fit in a blade fuse holder. I think I used a 30 amp breaker on my MG. Haven't gotten around to doing the good stuff on the Healey yet. Jack |
