I remember buying a pair of boating deck shoes that had a flat smooth sole with these unseen cuts across the sole every mm. Just looking at them you would think that the flat sole would slip on a wet boat deck but they were like suction cups on a wet surface. They had almost magical traction on wet surfaces. Ron |
