I owned a 1966 Pontiac GTO; in 1968, after too many speeding tickets , rear
tires, and clutch plates, I traded it for a 1962 VW convertible. At the
time, the Pontiac was worth more than the VW, so the dealer gave me a 1962
BT7 in boot. I had never seen one before, but it had three carbs, just like
the GTO, so I took it. My daily driver for over 20 years; Nadine is still
with me.
