Obviously same principle as others have used, but I repainted the shift knob and (after cleaning out old gunk, grease etc.) with a water based paint, I believe an off white latex house paint. Don't know if it will last as long (about 3-4 years so far with no problems) as epoxy or enamel, but I just carefully wiped off the excess with a damp rag and cleaned up with tap water. It is a nice easy job which will dress up the interior, go for it. Greg Lemon 54 BN1 |
