Reid, How about making up a couple of dummy stubs, neatly chamfered (or rounded over) on the ends, polished and chromed - or even painted aluminum color to match the wheels, which would protrude, say 1/2" (at most) through the regular rubbers? I mean using a new piece of 3/8" or 1/2" bar stock - a laminated stub, made from old brackets, WOULD look tacky. Dick Hosmer |
