i've always been kidded about my system for remembering the year of birth of 
each of my 5 kids.

son, 1961 -- "second year of the 3000"
daughter, 1964 -- "first year for the bj8"
daughter, 1967 -- "last year of the bj8"
daughter,  1968 -- the year following
daughter,   1972 -- "the year of the dino"

i'm always confusing the birthdays of the 7 grandchildren since i have no 
system.
