Transmission Gears & Syncros '65 BJ8

Good Morning Group- I am probably going to be rebuilding my transmission
during the winter months and I was wondering if you folks have any
preferences in the quality from the various vendors who supply the gears and
syncros?

 

Also, I have been told that the 1st and reverse gears are not available as
new; has anyone had any experience with the rebuilt gears like the ones that
Welch sells?
