Yes ----- but the RN12YC - no last digit - will probably be better. I
believe that the '6' refers to the fact that the electrodes are designed for
vehicles that require approx. .060 gaps. You can set them for .025 gaps for
Healeys, but the side electrode bend will be pretty extreme.
If you want to use Champions, I would look for the RN12YC (P/N 404) or
possibly the RN12YC4 (apparently no longer a good number - an .040 gap)
I have used Champion RN12YC plugs for many years on both Healeys gapped at
.030 with Sports coils and electronic ignitions - both cars have always run
very well and without problems on these plugs. I have experimented with
Bosch, NGK, ND and other plugs, but to tell the truth, have never noticed
any differences among them.
