Over the last few months I have updated the 100-Six site with several
new pages including some rare documentation.
In particular
- New Page on the introduction of the 100-Six including a
letter from the Austin Motor Company announcing its introduction
- New page dealing with the Standard & Deluxe models
- Page that deals with the specifics of the Longbridge type
convertible top and how it differs from the later versions
- New page covering the 100-Six Works Rally Cars
- Austin Motor Company 1957 official Colour Chart document for
the BN4
- Additions to the Brochure section which includes some new
rare documents
Big thanks to Jim Lesher and Peter Svilans for contributing documents
from their extensive collections.
The factory colour chart shows that the Primrose Yellow over Black cars
ONLY came with Yellow interiors. Anybody seen any originals with this
interior or even restored one with yellow leather etc. This car, with a
Black hard top must have looked pretty spectacular in 1957, especially
in England!
