We are talking about a MkII BT7

Per p.111 Anderson & Moment, "The upper inside of the door was trimmed with
a piece of vinyl glued on..."

Does the material overlap and turn over the edges of the door or is it cut
flush with said edges? If so, doesn't that look a bit tacky?
