Simon:
Only the very early BJ8's used the same front hub / bearing assembly as the
earlier cars. Later BJ8's used a different set-up, including different
swivel axles, bearings, shims, calipers, etc.
The parts book will tell you the change point chassis number, but beware of
possible parts swapping by a previous owner - lots of people have fitted the
later BJ8 brakes to earlier cars.
