Hi, I'm starting up a newly rebuilt engine and getting 40/60 psi at 500/1500 rpms at the gauge but only seeing a 'dribble' of oil coming out of the holes in the top of the rocker arms. The top of the head is all wet but I was expecting more of a spray to lubricate the springs, etc. I also had surface rust forming on the inside of the valve cover, indicating dry conditions. What's normal? Thanks, Steve Belfield 63 BJ7 |
