i believe you will find your box is a candidate for a rebuild with a new cam,
bushing, etc. 6" is too much for adjustment. this sounds like my box before i
finally rebuilt it prior to a '99 trip to san diego. i didn't know what to do
with all the spare time from not having to constantly correct my course down
the road. the tire that was removed from the left front had the squirrliest
wear kpattern you have ever seen. it was beveled as well as having a
serpentine wear line down the middle.
