Heater Leak

Healey Experts,

The heater core on my BN1 leaks.  It looks like it  will be a real nightmare
to get the heater out of the car.  (Yes, I have read the manual.)  Any tips?

Perhaps the heater can be disassembled while it is in the car.  Would this be
an easier way to remove the heater core?

I'd also appreciate recommendations on where to get a new core.
