 ON   EARLY BJ8's     Power comes from the flasher unit to the warning lights 
then to a ground via the turn signal bulbs not flashing ... if your flasher 
unit is not sending the message from P on the flasher unit to the w/lights , 
then BOTH w/lights will flash BUT will be dim ( they are now in series with 
each 
other ...
