While we are on the subject has anyone looked at the flexing of the nylon
bracket that holds the throttle linkage rod on the intake manifold? The rod
extends from the fire wall to the bracket and transfers the accelerator
movement to the carbs. I have replaced all the bushings and some of the ball
links trying to take the softness out of the accelerator linkage but this one
nylon bracket really needs to be more rigid. There is a lot of flexing in the
bracket. My bracket is new. Are there better alternative brackets
available?
