Listers,

A couple of questions on this subject:

1) What IS the general feeling on offering Healey items for sale on the
list? Is there a long standing 'rule' ? Personally I have no specific issue
with it and often find it convenient. As long as it is related to the car,
and
not endless misc stuff like Healey coffee mugs or ties, etc. I would
imagine that the listers would be offering good items at reasonable prices,
and it
can be easier for many than going the eBay route.

2) Or, could there be a separate classifieds 'list' where LBC items can be
put up for sale? I know there is a BMW motorcycle list that has that
feature. Items go on the list, stay for 30 days and then are removed.
Simple. The
LBC 'sellers list' could have separate menus for the different LBC's:
Healey's, Jags, MG's, TR's, others, etc. Cars for sale, parts for sale. Cars
wanted, parts wanted. Misc stuff for sale, misc stuff wanted. Only personal
sellers allowed, no vendors. Too much trouble for the list magordomo to
create
and maintain?

Some thoughts for discussion. I know we have eBay, and the British Car
Forum has a classified section.
