I think sometimes when they (auto upholstery and top shops) do it you end up with a slightly larger window, because they cut out the old and make a new seam or joint around the perimeter, this is not necessarily a bad thing, they can also usually add a zipper if you want an opening rear window for added ventilation. I remember many winters ago I thought I was being clever by simply cracking the ice off the back window of my Sprite with predictable (except to my young mind) results. Greg Lemon 54 BN1 |
