My tires showed no wear when it blew up on me.  I tried just about  
everything - rotating, varying the pressures, etc. The tires were inspected  
several 
times by a tire pro as well as myself.  When the tire exploded it  did so on 
the 
inner wall and never went flat. The inner tube didn't blow until I  had 
almost limped all the way home. So far so good with the  Coopers.
