Referencing an earlier call for folks who don't appreciate
history being rewritten by commercial interests, please
have a look at Sports Car Market, January 2005, page 15.
A good number of gentlemen (8) apparently sent off missives
to Kevin Marklin, Publisher, to let him know that the correct
nomenclature for the Austin Healey 100 is just that, be it a
BN1 or BN2.
The outcome? He and the "staff" (after a long meeting) have
decided that SMC will continue to use the term 100-4 to
describe the first generation Big Healeys.
Hmmmm. As I recall, Stalin was big on rewriting history.
