You might check your u-joints also. Failing u-joint noise could be considered a growl. You might feel the vibration also. If it's in the gearing it should get worse under load (drive or coast), but gear noise is more of a whine, even diff gear noise. Then there's the often problematic rear muffler bearings :) Dave |
