Smitty 5 speed Conversion

This has no doubt been covered before but I wasn't paying attention because
I'm happy with my Healey gearbox. However, there's a BJ8 in the shop where I
work part time whose owner wants a 5 speed installed. He has a Smitty kit
but apparently little information. Can somebody tell me what Toyota gearbox
is required (models and years of vehicles that have them) or how to get in
touch with Smitty himself?
