Hello,
While trying to assemble my new heater valve along
with a new o-ring and new lower bracket, the threads
pulled out from one of the bracket holes while
tightening the mounting screws. The valve was still
1/8" - 1/16" from the bracket flange when this
happened. The screws are in perfect condition (orig
fasteners removed from an original heater valve). Is
it because the replacement bracket material is soft,
o-ring too hard or a bit of both? Anyone else have
this happen?
