The black paint is not on their very thick, but I will watch for problems with 
that for heat.  

I am suprized in this PC worldthey would have a color called Chinese Red, but I 
did a search looking for a reference, and there it is at a home design site.

    Go easy on the amount of black paint you put on the core....
    
    On the red paint for the fan shroud use a orange-red, chinese red or
    something like the Colorade red....
