Tom,

The temperatures in my area run from -20 to 110F. Don't drive it much 
when below 30F though. I have a 180 thermostat & it usually runs from 
190 to 200 in ambient temps above 90. The hottest has been 210 on a long 
uphill pull at 110 ambient.  The boiling point is likely somewhere 
around 235 plus, so no real problems. Cools back down to 185 after a 
brief down hill run.

I have a pretty accurate infrared "thermo gun" which makes instant 
verification of the gage easy, & has provided a few surprises as well.
