Hi All,
I got the opportunity to visit David and Janet Koch this past winter and see
their car as it was nearing completion. Truly and awesome job, made even more
so by the fact that they sewed the entire interior by themselves from
scratch, to include the top, side curtains, and tonneau cover. Very impressive
indeed. Congratulations to David and Janet.
Obviously the car also runs as good as it looks. Testament to the fact that
a properly restored, stock car can be as dependable as any modified Healey.
Folks, this is what Rich Chrysler, Roger Moment, Reid Trummel, Gary Anderson
and the rest of the Concours Group have been advocating for years.
Restore them the way DMH and BMC built them, and then drive them!
Cheers,
Curt Arndt - Chairman, Austin Healey Concours Committee

Congratulations to David Koch. David has helped us score and judge at
Austin-Healey Concours events for many years while working on his own car.
I'm very
pleased to hear that his diligent efforts have paid off and he is now the
proud
driver of a concours-quality car capable of driving from the Canadian border
to the Mexican border without any problems.
Three cheers for David!
