Michael,
I dan't help you with the oil for the Toyota trans, I probably have the specs
around somewhere and if I find them I will forward if you haven't gotten thm
by the time I can look. did that ramble? It's early. Anyway...the first
number in your gear lube, 75, refers to the actual weight of the oil at 32
degrees F. the second number, 80 or 90, indicates the equivialnt viscosity at
212
degrees F. So, the oil flows like a 75 weight at the lower number and dos not
get any thinner than an 80 or 90 weight oil at 212 d. F. It gives you better
flow at lower temps but prtects like the higher weight at higher temps...Hope
this helps.
