Dave -

I understand that the alloy changed significantly over
the years, originally starting out as very high
quality aircraft grade aluminum alloys (remember the
first healey came out in 1953 when they were still
demobilizing and melting down WWII airplanes), and
generally changing to commercial alloys later in the
50's to 60's.

Don't know if that helps, but just be forwarned any
spec you get won't represent all the healeys.
