Hi, Mike -
I didn't find it hard at all to replace the pinion seal on my BJ8 rear axle.
Probably the most difficult part of it is holding the flange from turning
while unscrewing or re-torquing the nut.

How hard a job is it to replace the seal on the front of the hypoid-type
axle. The exploded drawing in the parts catalogs shows very few parts
involved. Are there hidden obstacles?
