I just had to comment on your note here re BN1 brakes.
I suppose one's impressions about braking ability are relative to what one
is used to on today's cars, but when properly set up the Hundred always had
great brakes, at least for normal road work. Perhaps in a racing situation
they wouldn't be up to it what with repeated heavy applications resulting in
fade.
If yours are "crap" maybe something's not quite right with them.
