Tires - (I know, this is covered every few weeks)

I'm looking at Vredestein Sprint Classic 185 HR 15's to go on Dayton 72 spoke
5.5" wheels. I
I've been told the Classics don't have the tread showing on the sidewall like
the normal Sprint tires.

Does anyone have any experience with these tires? I was told that 185/70's
would give too much wheel well gap showing.

Downside with the 185's is that they don't fit in the trunk so I'd have to
keep one of my old wheels as a spare.
