A lot of discussion lately about threading wires down stator tubes. We
have found that a lot of the problem is the insulation on the harness being
soaked with oil and swelling slightly, agravated by "crud" lining the inside
of the tube. By taking a piece of rag, soaked in solvent, attached to a wire
and pulling it back and forth through the tube, it is possible to clean and
shine the inside of the tube to make threading the wire easier.
