I drove it last year. I had a good time. The organizers are very friendly =
and want you to enjoy the event. My only reason for not doing it again is t=
he road isn't very smooth. A more compliant suspension car may handle it ok=
ay.

The city is recreating the event held in the 50s and 60s. The event is on p=
ublic roads around a lake in Lake Garnett Kansas. I remember it as a boy an=
d it attracted Carroll Shelby and the Cobra team, the factory Corvette team=
and entrants from across the country. At one time there were thousands of =
spectators.=20
The event is Oct 13-15. While is it=E2=80=99s not a sanctioned race it is a=
n opportunity to drive at speed (various classes) as a track day.=C2=A0 It =
also has an auto cross.=20
It=E2=80=99s a low stress way to enjoy your car on track and see a lot of v=
intage cars.=20
