I'll bite on this one - for the TR6, the MAxSpeeding rods are 110 grams li=
ghter and NEW metal. The quality was impressive.
My direct experience is one set, but it needed zero re-sizing. Pin sizing w=
as perfect. My machinist didn't charge me to check them.
Frankly, I was shocked at that outcome based on the price, but I'd def. buy=
another set in the future, assuming that they are available. It was cheape=
r by far than fully prepping a set of stock rods (size, balance end to end,=
lighten, shot peen, etc.) And there is no way to get a set of stock rods t=
hat light and maintain the integrity and strength of the rods.

I asked the same question, more or less, about 2 years ago. The consensus a=
t that time was that you should have a good machine shop check all dimensio=

I'm in the process of building a "stockish" TR4 motor. The stock rods need =
to be rebuilt so I thot I'd use a set of Maxpeeding rods as they are not mu=
ch more money than the cost to rebuild the stockers. Has anyone used a set =
of these in an 87mm sleeve? Will they fit down the bore or are they too wid=
e to fit without going to a larger bore?

if its not one thing, its another...
