Mark,
Thanks for the email.=20
My question and message to FOT was to clarify the date and I was only pointi=
ng out to people from out of town, that they should book their rooms early.
We have been racing there for over 35 years and we know the lay of the land t=
here very well. We ran the July event when it when it was still the Chicago H=
istoric Races, which were organized by a privateer from Chicago who owned th=
e Marchetti Inn. It was a truly great event. Road America later took over t=
he event. We have watched the track, the event and the town go through lots o=
f changes and evolution.=20
Just to help anyone coming from out of town, there are limited average cost r=
ooms near the track on event weekends. The resorts in town are very nice an=
d fun to stay at, but they come at a higher cost.=20
The resorts in town are:
The Osthoff
The Shore Club
Siebkens
Attendees will can find more hotels in Plymouth and Sheboygan.=20
For those who did not know.=20
I am sure that you guys will put on a great event for those who attend.=20
Brian was involved with a K-cup at BHF about 6 years ago. I remember that he=
and Jason did a great job. =20
Again, thanks for the email.=20
