I=92ve noticed that non resistor NGKs have been replaced by the resistor ty=
pe of the same heat range. I=92ve been putting them in street cars for a w=
hile now with no apparent issues on my customer=92s cars. Will they affect=
any changes on a race application? Honestly I=92m not sure, but most elec=
tronic ignitions require some kind of resistance in the plug wires, so I ca=
n=92t see that they would hurt anything. I=92m certainly not going to stop=
using NGKs, they are the best.

I have been using NGK-BP7HS in my TR4. Recently I have been trying to buy s=
ome new ones and everybody is out of them or they are NLA. A couple of plac=
es have said that they are being replaced by NGK-BPR7HS. Has anybody else r=
an into this? I don=92t think it is COVID related.
The R stands for Resistor. Can I use the replacement?
Thanks, Mike
