Hear, hear. Started with a street car, ended up with a tarted-up street ca=
r. Still, had a ball with it on track, but would have been much better of=
f with an old race car.

Here's a suggestion for prepping his car. Buy the car that Sam recently po=
sted. Having built cars from a street car, in the long run it is usually b=
etter to start with an already built race car. The disadvantage is the upf=
ront cost. When you build a car, the money is spent over time, but in the =
long run, more money is spent. If the upfront cost can be handled, the car=
can be put on track almost immediately (if there is still money left for e=
ntry fees and so on). That's my 2 cents. JoeB

He's autocrossed it a few times and plans on an SCCA Prod car as well as vi=

Can I get a second?
