The two GT6 blocks I've recently worked on have the notched bottom bores.
I'd have to look Monday about the crank blow outs on the manifold side. I
will defer to others with more knowledge as to GT/TR interchangeability,
but my understanding is the differences were in the crank, pistons and
intake manis, not the blocks
