The Spit 1500s do in fact have a 3.89 ratio diff. The Mk 4 Spits have a =
4.11 in them but are heavier built than the earlier diffs in the mk 3. =
It is common practice to install a 4.11 R&P into the 1500 diff case but =
they will have to be shimmed properly for gear engagement.
